We have learned through forum posts that some hackers have once again figured out a way to get back into the Playstation Network with a hacked ps3. This time, the method requires the user to run his own DNS server on a computer within the network, and a change of a security certificate file within the PS3 firmware.
It all sounds complicated, but as of today, the hackers have been perfecting their methods and have also claimed that the hack has already been tested to work. This hack is still on its very early stages and it seems that there is still some work to be done to make it totally user-friendly. The hackers posting on the forums also announced that later on today there will be a step-by-step process that is good for 'noobies', however as of the posting of this article there have not been claims on the forums that show the hack is working for anybody else other than from its developers.
